Description

Scut

Scut is a cable seal intended for the class of seals used on meters. Its main application is metrology and utility meters where a thin cable needs to be secured.

The PET body measures 22 × 24.5 × 15.4 mm and the rotor is made of polystyrene. The galvanized steel cable has a diameter of 0.6–0.7 mm and an adjustable length up to 250 mm. Tensile strength is 10–15 kg.

The temperature range of -50 °C to +50 °C is the widest cold range in the entire Lockwise meter seal range. The 18 × 7 mm laser area supports 7-digit numbering, expandable up to 11 characters.
